From a magazine to a movement
Futura is my master's thesis project. It is a gender-sensitive magazine dedicated to women who make music and work in music. A quarterly paper and digital publication that has the will to make known women of music and inspire women and girls of all ages, to music.

"The wish is to create a fragmented community of musicians, singers, songwriters, producers and music industry workers."
The pages of Futura mainly feature interviews with female artists from the Italian music scene and women working in the Italian music industry. Through these conversations, the aim is to share the secrets of the trade without filters, to encourage women to make music and to inform about the current musical landscape around us.
The magazine also features essays aimed at highlighting the inequality between women and men working in the music industry. Sometimes the essays are accompanied by infographics to help convey the data more quickly to the reader. It includes concert reports, setlists, and short concert reviews.

This is fundamental for people; they love those who gave them these emotions, and it's a mystery to many."
